The Tournament, 2009
Every seven years in an unsuspecting town, The Tournament takes place. A battle
royale between 30 of the world's deadliest assassins. The last man standing receiving
the $10,000,000 cash prize and the title of Worlds No 1, which itself carries the
legendary million dollar a bullet price tag.
Scott Adkins is one of the assassins. He has one fightscene in the movie and there's
one small scene in which he executes 10 people.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine, 2009
Two mutant brothers, Logan and Victor, born 200 years ago, suffer childhood trauma
and have only each other to depend on. Basically, they're fighters and killers, living from
war to war through U.S. history. In modern times, a U.S. colonel, Stryker, recruits them
and other mutants as commandos. Logan quits and becomes a logger, falling in love
with a local teacher. When Logan refuses to rejoin Stryker's crew, the colonel sends the
murderous Victor. Logan now wants revenge.
Scott Adkins plays Weapon XI. He is un-credit, and also his face in the movie is
unrecognizable. You can identify him by his moves...
Stag Night, 2008
In New York, Mike, at his bachelor party, goes with his troublemaker brother Tony and
his friends Carl and Joe to a strip club. However Tony gets in a fight with other
costumers and the group is expelled by the bouncers. Tony convinces Mike and his
friends to take the subway and go to another bar.
There they see the stripper Michelle and her friend Brita, and Carl makes a
corresponded move to Michelle. When Tony flirts with Brita, she becomes upset and
defends herself with a spray. The train stops in a traffic light at an abandoned station,
and Brita forces the door open, leaving the train to breath, followed by the others.
However the signal opens and they are left behind in the station. Mike, Tony, Joe and
Brita decide to walk through the tunnel to the next station and seek help for Carl.
When they reach the next station, they witness a trio of brutal homeless men killing a
guard and they run through the tunnel trying to escape from the deranged murderers in
the beginning of their nightmarish night.
Scott Adkins has a short role in this movie and is one of the first victims...
Black Mask 2: City of Masks, 2002
In The Shepherd: Border Patrol, Jean-Claude Van Damme plays Jack Robideaux a
former New Orleans homicide detective) who joins the Border Patrol working
underground as a as a brooding loner with a pet rabbit to battle former members of an
elite U.S. military force (ex-Navy Seals).
This was the first movie of Scott Adkins and Van Damme together.
Van Damme's looks are great in this movie. But more Adkins would have tasted
delicious.
Movies 2010 - 2006
The Bourne Ultimatum, 2007
Bourne is once again brought out of hiding, this time inadvertently by London-based
reporter Simon Ross who is trying to unveil Operation Blackbriar--an upgrade to Project
Treadstone--in a series of newspaper columns. Bourne sets up a meeting with Ross
and realizes instantly they're being scanned. Information from the reporter stirs a new
set of memories, and Bourne must finally, ultimately, uncover his dark past whilst
dodging The Company's best efforts in trying to eradicate him.
Scott Adkins has a short role as agent Kiley.
The Pink Panter, 2006
When the coach of the France soccer team is killed by a poisoned dart in the stadium in
the end of a game, and his expensive and huge ring with the diamond Pink Panther
disappears, the ambitious Chief Insp.
Dreyfus assigns the worst police inspector Jacques Clouseau to the case. His intention
is to give a diversion to the press, while he uses his best men to chase the killer and
thief. He assigns Gendarme Gilbert Ponton to work with Clouseau and inform each step
of the investigation.
When Clouseau is nominated with honor to the highest prize in France, Dreyfus decides
to humiliate Clouseau and take him out of the case. However Clouseau has already
solved the mystery...
