This film will again be a collaborative effort between Scott Adkins and filmmaker Jesse V. Johnson. The film is being described as a gangster film that unfolds in a non-linear fashion that boldly harkens back to its cinematic forebears: GoodFellas, Pulp Fiction and Chopper.
Written by Stu Small – who penned both Accident Man, The Debt Collector and supervised the script for Triple Threat – Avengement sees a lowly criminal (Adkins) who evades his guards and returns to his old haunts to take revenge on the people that made him a cold-hearted killer.
The film is currently in development for a planned release in 2019.
